"There may be hope yet, if we can discover the method you were pulled from time, there may be a way to reverse it." The game was not over yet.
Since there were no obvious or not-so-obvious ties between Cranston and Moriarty, Sherlock can only conclude that the resulting time dilation was not part of his plan. "He may not even know you are here."
